Meet the Maker

Open Studios West Gippsland is almost upon us again! April 7 & 8th 2018 is the date – from 10am to 5pm all weekend the artists will be opening their studio doors to welcome you. There will be demonstrations, displays of work and insights in the way we work and how we get our inspiration.

Most of the studios are not generally open to the public – so it’s like a private insight into our lives. Come along and be part of it.

For full information go to www.openstudioswestgippsland.com.au for a downloadable map and information on the artists. On the day, you pay $5 at the first studio which gives you access to all studios, all weekend. This is a self guided tour, but the map is really good!

I will be showing my ceramic sculptures, and I have lots of new domestic ware in the making – but not yet fired. There will be a display of painting and sculpture and I’ll show you around the wood fired kiln and explain how it works. Look forward to seeing you all…
